Moxie

On August 10, 2022, the School of Life Sciences celebrated an end of summer potluck with a small gathering in one of LSC's larger conference room. As a thank you parting gift to Jennifer Fewell for all the hard work as our School of Life Sciences director, we created an illustration of her dog Moxie, and had it sit on the easel when she walked in to join the festivities. She did not want to have a big going away party, so this potluck gathering was a nice time to celebrate all our accomplishments as we prepare for the new fall semester.

When she saw the framed illustration, she immediately ran up to it, and hugged it. Nothing could beat the real Moxie, but we hope that this illustration continues to give her joy each time she looks at it.
